What are your home goals for 2020? As you're sitting down to set your New Year's resolutions, will any for your home make the list? Whatever the project, we're here to help when you need us. Here are a few ideas (and a special free smart home tech offer):

1. Make Your Home Smart
Smart home tech blew up like never before in 2019, and we don't expect things to slow down in 2020. One of the standout smart home gadgets of the year was none other than Google's Nest Learning Thermostat. At AAA House Manager, we're all about making homeownership easier and more affordable. To help you kick off the new year on the best foot, we're giving away a free Nest Thermostat plus free installation to new members who sign up for annual membership. That's a $350 value, plus an average of $131-145 in yearly energy savings, so your first year of membership pretty much pays for itself! Learn more here.
2. Get Ahead of Repairs
We all have it, that ever growing list of repairs and "honeydos" that need to be done around the house. House Manager Matthew has two tips to help you get some peace of mind in 2020 and finally stop worrying about that list: 1.) fix things straight away so they don't pile up on the list, and 2.) stick closely to your yearly maintenance schedule. That way, you'll ward off many repairs to begin with. Our 12-month Bay Area Maintenance Checklist is a great place to get started. And, it goes without saying, we're here if you need help.
3. Make Your Home Even More Beautiful
There are some exciting home design and décor trends in store for 2020. From elegant designs straight out of the 1920s to bold new pops of color, this new year should bring you plenty of inspiration for redecorating your living room, or even renovating your kitchen (abstract backsplash anyone?) or bathroom (so gorgeous in art nouveau fashion). Just be careful with designs that are too over the top and might hurt your home's value. We have some exciting news on the horizon for renovations, so keep an eye on your inbox and our Instagram!
4. Ask for Help When you Need it
This little pearl of wisdom is just as important for your home as it is for your overall wellbeing. There is zero shame in recognizing — and admitting — that you do not know how to do something (or simply don't have the time) and asking for help. Knowing our own limits and asking for help are signs of wisdom and courage! So be your best, wise, and courageous self in 2020 and ask for help when you need it. We won't judge.
